The Memorial Hall and the Hall Management Committee

The committee oversees the day-to-day running of the hall and its activities which include weekly Brownies and Girl Guides meetings, Sing for Fun, Zumba plus irregular events such as fund-raising, Quiz Nights, Parish Assemblies, Parish Council Meetings, children’s parties and other occasional social events. The Hall also serves as the village polling station as well as functioning as the Emergency Centre for the Village

The hall has a paid booking clerk who ensures that the premises are clean and in good order for users

The committee meets monthly and has 11 elected members comprising hall users and community activists. Committee members are elected at the Memorial Hall Annual General Meeting which is held in June or July. All residents of Peasmarsh are encouraged to attend the AGM and vote on the election of committee members

The Memorial Hall and the freehold of the land on which it is situated is owned by the Parish Council and is held in trust by the Parish Council for the benefit of Peasmarsh. The hall is administered by the committee on behalf of the Parish Council and is independent of the Parish Council
